The past couple of days have given me a real taste of spring, and I’m loving it. This week is a little quiet, but we’ve still got lots of fun crafts, shows, and music for you all! Just wait, once May hits, all the big, exciting events start flooding in!

York Region Transit is celebrating 25 years of connecting people and communities and they’re marking the milestone with special events, displays, and contests all year long!

One fun way to get involved is the Transit Memories Contest. They want to hear your stories—whether it’s your very first bus ride, a quiet moment on your daily commute, or a memorable encounter on transit. Share your memories and celebrate the journeys that have made transit meaningful. Learn more here.

Got a business idea you’ve been wanting to bring to life? Applications for the Summer Company Program 2026 are now open!

Selected participants can receive up to $3,000 in grant funding, plus mentorship to help launch and grow their business.
