Alright, how’s everyone doing? Are you all getting into the swing of things now that September is here? Things are definitely slowing down, and fall is creeping in (my heater’s already had a workout!).

I’m still hunting down the best events for you, but as you know, the fun stuff tends to run away once the cold hits. That said, don’t worry, we’re still gonna make the most of it and have a blast!

CITY UPDATES

IndyCar Series is Coming to Markham!

Well, well, well… of all things, RACING is coming to Markham!

From August 14–16, 2026, the IndyCar Series is hitting up Markham Centre, and things are about to get seriously fast and loud. You definitely don’t want to miss this!

MPL Goes Cashless Next Year

Starting January 1, 2026, Markham Public Library is saying goodbye to cash and going fully cashless. That means if you’re printing, copying, paying fines, or signing up for programs, it’s all card or tap only. Time to dust off that debit/credit!
