We’re heading into the last week of May. Seriously, where did the month go?

This week, I’m trying something new: if you see “📍” next to an event, that means it falls just outside the usual 15km radius I aim for (but it’s still a super cool event I thought you’d want to know about).

FESTIVAL CENTRAL

BARKHAM is back — and bigger than ever!

York Region’s largest dog-focused festival is taking over 25 acres at the Markham Museum on May 31 & June 1, 2025, from 11 AM to 6 PM — and it's going to be the most EPIC dog-friendly event of the year!

With 75+ vendors, food trucks, games, giveaways, and endless fun for pups and their humans, this is the ultimate weekend outing for dog lovers. Seriously, there are so many cool things happening, we can’t even list them all.

My Big Fat Greek Festival!

Presented by SigProTo, Canada’s largest Greek festival is back and taking over St. Panteleimon Church (11323 Warden Ave, Markham) on Friday, May 30 & Saturday, May 31.

Kung Fu Film Festival Canada
